My name is Mauro, I am an Italian photographer, and photography has always been part of my life.
It has accompanied me quietly over time, becoming a natural way to observe, to pause, and to give meaning to what surrounds me.
I photograph to fix a moment of light in time, an instant that would otherwise disappear.
For me, photography is a way of stopping a clock and trying to understand the immensity and the infinite contained within a single moment.
I like the idea of my work entering people’s homes.
I want each image to become a small pause, a moment of reflection and reconciliation with oneself.
A moment of true presence, where nothing else matters but the present.
